Recently I decided to run a small engagement giveaway for the fall in order to meet some stellar engaged couples with amazing stories. The giveaway was nothing short of amazing! I got so much positive feedback I am considering doing it again! Through the process, I heard so many stories of couples from Cleveland and Columbus. Veronica and Mark were just one of those couples.

Their Story

For Veronica and Mark, it was love at first swipe! In Veronica’s words, “Mark and I met on a dating app (Tinder) and after our first date in July of 2014 at Cazuelas Mexican Cantina in Columbus, I knew I had met my future. We were both in graduate school at The Ohio State University, he was working toward obtaining his master’s degree in engineering and I was getting my doctor of pharmacy, and even with our busy schedules, we made time to get to know each and fell quickly in love. Our love during the past 5 years has grown to something that is hard to describe but can be felt and seen when we are together. We got engaged in October of this year at one of our favorite getaways in Ohio, Premier Carriage House Cottages in Berlin. We are very excited about what this next adventure brings our way and can not wait to be married to each other!”

The Rockefeller Greenhouse

Since Veronica and Mark were making the trip in from Dublin, which is outside of Columbus I wanted to make sure that no matter what the weather was it would be perfect. I landed on the Rockefeller Greenhouse in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. If you have never been here it seriously is so amazing! With it being November you really never know what you are going to get. We lucked out and it was an overall beautiful day. The weather was a bit on the chilly side but the sun was shining! We started outside before making our way into the warm and toasty tropical inside.

During the Session

Throughout the session, you could just see how excited Veronica was. She was seriously beaming from ear to ear! Just see for yourself below. We chatted and laughed, joked and had a fun time strolling through the greenhouse shooting as we went along. We chatted about their wedding day, what they were looking forward to most about being married. When our session was hugged and I congratulated them again on what I know is going to be an amazing marriage. Just from these images alone, I know they are going to have one heck of a marriage.
