Cleveland, Ohio Wedding | Angela and Alex
Angela and Alex were a DREAM to work with. We met at Erie Island Coffee in Rocky River on a cold day in February. We sat and talked over wedding details, how Angela was born in Hong Kong but moved to Boston, and now was living in the BIG Apple, and how terrible but catchy the Hot Pockets commercials were that always interrupt my Hulu watching. Hot Pockets kinda random, right? Well not really Alex helped design the marketing for those darn little commercials that get stuck in your head, ” BITE!!” We laughed and talked for a good hour or so. Before the meeting was over we knew we were a perfect match for this crazy wedding thing! We shot their engagement photos in the summer when Angela emailed me saying she was going to have some time away from her busy work schedule to be in Cleveland but she would only be here 3 days! Luckily, I had that one day free. The photos turned out gorgeous you can see them on the blog here. The wedding was in October, on Sweetest Day to be exact. Now to anyone not from Ohio including Angela you are thinking “Sweetest Day” that’s not a holiday! Well to us Clevelander’s it sure is 2nd to Valentine’s Day. Anyways, the day started out rainy and chilly but cleared up just enough for us to get some wonderful photos outside of the Union Club, which is GORGEOUS I might add. The ceremony was just a short drive into Ohio City at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Since Angela was Chinese she had 3 beautiful dresses for the day. Yes you heard me, 3 DRESSES!!! Anyways, I don’t want to give away anything, check out their fairytale wedding below… complete with 3 gorgeous dress, one stunning bride, a handsome groom, a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and tons of fun!!
